Posting will be real light for a few weeks.

As this heathen prepares for the Christmas holidays, I will not be following politics and won't have much to post aside from some interesting tidbit I might find and want to share. I'm going to be busy with other things for awhile, but I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy, safe and wonderful holiday.

If, like me, you're not religious, at least take some time to appreciate the fact that against astronomical odds, you exist. Or, if you want to be Grinchy, break it down to 50/50 -- you either would have existed or you wouldn't have existed. Either way, you beat the odds and are here to enjoy as much of life as you can.

Hopefully most if not all of you are among friends and family who love you as much as you love them, even when they drive you crazy. Fact is, you probably drive them nuts sometimes too.  I'm driving myself nuts rambling on about nothing here, so without further ado I'd like to leave you with some Christmas music because I know you haven't heard enough of it in every store you've been in since Halloween. This may be a little different than what you're used to, so crank up your speakers as loud as they'll go, get off your butt, and dance like an elf with a sprig of mistletoe up his or her ass.
